
Enter the desired min and max ranges in the "To" section-by default it will normalize to 0-1, but if you want to preserve logical distances, enter the same numbers as were detected. Put the node in the viewer so you're sure it's loaded the pixels, then click the Detect Range button so the tool will find the min and max values in your depth map. When you set it to Aux to Color, a checkbox called Remapping (Z to Color) will be available.Ĭhoose Z from the Aux Channel and tick the checkbox.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have a mode where it will remap without copying the channel to color, so you have to use two of them. Naturally! The most automatic is to use the Copy Aux node. (If you are unfamiliar with the code->node procedure: Simply click the "SELECT ALL" below, copy and paste into Fusion) If you want to adjust the range too, simply use a value different than -1 (e.g. Set the Multiplier to -1 and adjust the Shift to give it the needed offset.
